Just read the first post---and while i don't call myself a Christian i somewhat believe in the Gospels but not the apocrypha of Paul that follows...right now i'm reading the Zohar and realise that i'll have to read the Talmud to get a better understanding of it---but i see a lot of so-called Christians who have no idea of what Jesus preached
There's a reason Jesus says when you pray you should say not MY will but Thine will be done...and historically man has created God in HIS image!!!
You'd figure the Israelites would've been INTO God after He took them out of bondage, but while Moses is up on the mountain, what do they do?---why make a golden calf so that they could be like their neighbours
Most sheeple are into religion just to fit in and BE SOMETHING...God calls for you to surrender yourself, and that's damn near impossible---kind of like Carlos Castenada's shutting down the inner dialogue excercise.
