But they are also the reason why I sometimes dislike church.
Community, support, fellowship and teaching.
I guess I love more than anything else the liturgy and all it entails: the incense, the chanting, the prayers, the sprinkling of Holy Water, the vestments, the Eucharist, &c. It is always an awesome experience.
hmm this could take a while LOL. I love the worship in my church. It is upbeat and gets you energized and ready for the sermon. My Pastor has great sermons about different topics. This past week the Associate Pastor talked about who we are because of what he did. It was very interesting and put things into persepective. I also like alter calls and praying with people.
The sweet presence of God that I feel there.
I love my church. It's small enough so that I know most everyone there (at least who they are if not personally), but it's big enough where we can still have groups and activities, etc. It's a great Bible-believing and teaching church, they aren't afraid to teach the truth. Almost all of my friends go to my church too...meaning, most of my friends are from my church. So, going to church means that I get to see all of my friends and usually talk with them. We are very involved with the church, always doing different things there, and also with the people in the church, too. I've been going to my church for 9 years now, and even helped when we built a new church building about...7 years ago now, I think it was. It's great to go there and be encouraged...to be around people who feel the same way I do, who are believers.
Worship and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Plain and simple, that is why I go.
I did not really like this quesiton posted...why is it about what we get out of church? what we like about it? is a church good only when we take something away from the sermon? is it good when we get all emotional and are moved to make some decision that only last until Monday morning? i thought church was about what we bring to God...
worship. i love the upbeat and the beautiful melody of people's voices. i like it when they are more of nowadays rather than hymns or gospel. the drums, the claps. the dances, shouting and feeling of the holy spirit hits the whole family!!
Fellowshipping with my peers, worship and prayer time
definitely the community. aka the whole reason church exists.
I am very dissatisfied with the church in general. It has turned out to be completely different than what it was intended to be. If you want a church how it's "supposed" to be, check out Jesus People USA or other Christian commmunities. What I like about those is the authentic, most biblical type of worship I have ever seen in my life.
The "praise and worship" segment in the very beginning.
Having a place to gather is awesome in itself. :)
worship---it's all about letting everything else go and getting into the presence of the Lord :)
nothing... one of the many reasons i do not attend church. i think that organized religion is the bane of our faith.
the music.

My leaders. They are truly awesome people. Love them to bits, they are so wonderful, fabulous, hilarious, gorgeous human beings.
Also love the worship, feel like I could stay there singing & dancing, praise & worship all day. The word is also so encouraging & motivating.
But mostly I would say it's the coming together of everyone, my church family so we can gather together as one to focus on God.
As a Catholic, partaking in the Holy Eucharist.
Save lost sheep Praise God
Worship :)
The feeling of safety that I have there. When I'm out in the world, I often feel vulnerable to people who bash Christianity, but in church I can worship God without any fear of having to put up a fight.

To be succinct: The people.
