Hawk Nelson Is My Friend
By Hawk Nelson
see relatedDo you ever feel like breaking down?
I was sitting in my living room the other day. When all of the sudden I felt God's tug. I had NO earthly idea what God wanted from me. I knew that there was something that God wanted me to do. Something to look up. So I got on the computer and went to check my facebook. And there was a message from a friend. Wanting to commit suicide.
Isnt it amazing how God will tug at us. Give us instructions that often times we dont even listen to. So I want to really challenge you this week. When God is tugging at your heart, don't ignore it. Let God use you. Let him work through you

see relatedYou can only move as fast as who's in front of you!
I was listening to flyleaf and one of my favorite songs started to play. I never really listened to the words of this song, but all of the sudden this line hit me..
Breathe Today:Flyleaf
You can only move as fast as,
Who's in front of you,
And if you assume,
Just like them,
What good will it do,
So find out for yourself
So your ignorance,
Will stop bleeding through. Its so simple, but so true. Often times we wonder why we can't get any further in christ. Why can't we keep moving!!! But the thing is, the person you are following is only going so fast!
This shows that we will always be following someone. But our choice is who we follow. We need our brothers and sisters in christ, but our job as christians is to bring them up to speed and let them bring us up to speed. Have an accountability partner and don't be igorant to the fact that the person in front of you will fall, but we need to give them that bump or honk that speeds that back up.
God Bless

see relatedshut up and drive!
For those of you who don't know, I am 15 years old, so guess what that means? Yep Learners Permit hehe. So I have been taking Driver's ed through my school. My Mom decided to take me driving.. I did pretty good..
but as I was driving I saw something... A stop sign. Now most people take a stop sign as just something to pay attention to. But I couldn't help but think so much more (The youth leader in me). I realized how many times God is calling us to stop. Stop and look both ways and keep going.
So many people pass up stop signs. But until you truly stop and pay attention you haven't accomplished anything. We needed to listen to God. We are so many times asking God to give us a sign. But he is giving us signs EVERY DAY. So I have decided to come to a stop in my life. I am going to just take a couple days and focus on God. Make sure everything is in line and continue on.
God bless you..

see relatedHow would you confront a friend with and eating disorder?
I have had to confront people many times with eating disorders. First off I would do the obvious yet so un thought about. PRAY! Only Jesus Christ knows the best choice. Next. If the person is a female, and I am obviously male, I would see if there were any girls that she is comfortable with. Sometimes its better for a girl to counsel a girl. If there is no other choice then I would act on it. I would have to do what God would tell me to do and say...
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

see relatedLife after High School... But with God.
I have been praying alot lately about what to do with my life after high school. I know God is calling me into youth ministry... but I had no idea where to study. Since I have been praying God has led me to Hillsong international leadership college in Australia.. Its just the type of education I need and that God is calling me into. I would like your advice on this if any of you have been. I am only in 10th grade but feel this is his calling for me..
